On Friday, October 2nd, we would like to cordially invite you to join us for breakfast and a round of golf at the Fox Run Golf Course in Beaver Falls to help us raise money to support the mission and vision of 4:12 Sports Ministries.
We desire to inspire and equip athletes and coaches to train, compete and ultimately live for Christ. With that in mind, we absolutey love sports and the mission field has called us to, but sports is simply our method to share and teach athletes and coaches what it looks like to follow Jesus on a daily basis. With that in mind, our theme for this year's golf outing is "This is so much bigger than sports". Its all about furthering God's Kingdom!
A breakfast buffet will be served starting at 7:30 am followed by a short presentation about our ministry at 8 am. A shotgun start will follow at 9 am.
Our goal for this event is to launch our year-end fundraising initiatives by raising $10,000 from THIS event on our way to raising $30,000 by the end of 2026.
All money raised from the event will go enable us to run the following programming
- Fall Indoor Baseball Training at Diesel Sports Complex (October through December)
- Winter Indoor Baseball Training at Diesel Sports Complex (January through March)
- Youth Bible studies
- Bible study with the baseball team at Geneva College
- Mentoring relationships with youth, high school and collegiate athletes
- Retreat for college baseball players in early January to encounter the presence of God prior to their Spring season
- College visits for high school athletes
- College visits to speak to and minister to collegiate athletes
- Scholarship fund to allow for low or no-cost registration when needed
